The Berri Water Ski Club is a family-based social club for all ages, established to enjoy this picturesque section of the River Murray, 240km east of Adelaide. Located approximately 4km upstream from Berri along Riverview Drive, Martin's Bend is home to the Berri Water Ski Club. Martin's Bend offers a 20km section of the River Murray with constant deep water levels and large, shaded, lawn banks.
With many social functions throughout the summer months, the club offers an invitation to come along and join in. Amongst the functions are Opening and Closing Days, Christmas Party and other social gatherings where you can come along and meet with other keen watersport enthusiasts and members out to relax, whether you enjoy yourself behind a boat or simply sitting on the bank socialising and enjoying the facilities.
The new clubroom provides a venue with full cooking facilities and an elevated seating area to watch the sun slowly set on the tranquil River Murray. For the children, there is a large lawn area to run and play, a playground and wading pool. If you are looking for some privacy, permanent tables and seats are located along the length of the riverbank and large umbrellas are available for the sunny days, all within easy walking distance of toilet facilities.
The club has many members from other areas who regularly visit and they are testament to the excellent facilites, wonderful social atmosphere and great times that are had at Martin's Bend.
