About the Berri Water Ski Club
Established in January 1960 by some very dedicated and keen water skiing members the club has now grown from humble beginnings to its 3 hectare facility, with more than 100 families and 30 single members in the club.

A simple no fuss club established to provide members who are excited about water sports the facilities and equipment to enjoy their precious time down the River. A large 4 bay boat ramp is located at the downstream end of the club along with car and trailer parking facilities. The Clubs list of free hire equipment available includes Senior and Junior Water Skis, Hydro Slides, Wakeboard and life jackets. For the more experienced skier a slalom course is constructed on selected weekends.

For people who are just happy to sit back and watch the view from the club rooms or lawn areas the view is amongst the best in South Australia. There is probably no better way to spend that Sunday than relaxing with a glass of wine or a cold beer watching the events on the River.

July generally marks the start of the season with the Club AGM and dinner. With the warmer weather in October, it all starts with Opening Day to which members and friends are all invited. Other events include the Marathon to a designated location, camp overnight and return the next day, a Tinny Trip and many BBQ dinners.

The club has a strong commitment to improving facilities, operating classes for water skiing, wakeboarding and barefoot skiing along with creating a safe environment for all to enjoy and having good times together.
